The gut–brain axis is the two-way biochemical signaling that takes place between the gastrointestinal tract and the central nervous system(CNS). The brain has a direct effect on the stomach and intestines, the very thought of eating can release the stomach's juices before food gets there. A troubled intestine can send signals to the brain, just as a troubled brain can send signals to the gut. Therefore, a person's stomach or intestinal distress can be the cause or the product of anxiety, stress, or depression. That's because the brain and the gastrointestinal (GI) system are intimately connected.

Malabsorption of vitamin D may be caused by a poor diet which is lacking in omega 3 fats, high caffeine intake, & consumption of heavily processed foods & sugars. Obesity, Lack of physical activity, reduced Sunlight (UVB) exposure, & your age may contribute to vitamin D deficiency.

The pineal gland is an endocrine gland that secretes melatonin and is involved in circadian rhythms, commonly believed to be the Third Eye. According to this belief, humans had in far ancient times an actual third eye in the back of the head with a physical and spiritual function. Over time, as humans evolved, this eye atrophied and sunk into what today is known as the pineal gland. Scholars have hypothesized that the pineal gland, which maintains light sensitivity, is responsible for the production and release of DMT (dimethyltryptamine), an entheogen which may be excreted in large quantities at the moments of birth and death.

Physical exercise, adequate sleep, low stress, drinking plenty of water, & monitoring diet will boost the immune system. Since the human body is designed for walking and running, this will be the easiest way to strengthen our immune and cardiovascular systems. Research has shown our ability to fight disease is directly related to the ability to control our thoughts and emotions. Cortisol, the stress hormone, can be lowered by eating superfoods, being in nature, taking supplements, having pets/hobbies, meditation/breathwork.

Eating a more alkaline food plan can help with weight loss, prevent kidney stones, keep bones and muscles strong, improve cardiovascular health and brain function, and reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes.
